wir werden im September unsere 1. Balireise antreten und sind schon leicht aufgeregt. Meine Frau und ich haben uns für eine Pauschalreise entschieden. Wir werden unsern 1. Zwischenstop für 3 Tage im Legian Beach Hotel machen. Anschließend geht’s für die nächsten 4 Tage zu einer Zauber & Mythostour. Die Tour beginnt bei Klungkung à Ubud à Mount Batur à Lovina à Bedugul à Jatiluwih. Zum Abschluss geht’s dann noch ein paar Tage zum relaxen ins Intercontinental Resort Bali. Könnt ihr uns einige Informationen und Tips geben was man unbedingt machen sollte oder wo man in der Nähe gut Essen gehen kann?

Nach Eurer Schilderung, was Ihr bereits gebucht habt
und nachdem wir nicht wissen, wo Eure Interessen liegen,
fällt es recht schwer, Euch Tipps zu geben...:weißnich
Vielleicht geht Ihr da noch etwas ins Detail...?!

Zwischen Interconti und Four Seasons (also direkt bei Eurem letzten Hotel)
gibt es einen Strandabschnitt, wo man gut im Sonnenuntergang Fisch essen kann,
dazu gibt es hier bereits einen separaten thread
"Alternative zu Fischrestaurants in Jimbaran"
Auch der Fischmarkt in Jimbaran ist recht urig.

Zu Legian und den angrenzenden Orten kann ich nicht viel sagen,
ist nicht mein Pflaster...sorry

Sorry, Legian und Jimbaran ist auch nicht so meine Gegend.
Legian ist in den letzten Jahren sehr voll geworden. Der Strand ist morgens zwischen 6 und 7 am schönsten. Dort kann man vor dem Frühstück ewig lang laufen. Wenn ihr mal tagsüber einen langen Spaziergang machen wollt, einfach nach Seminyak weiter bis Canggu. Da kommen wirklich total einsame Strandabschnitte.
Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren öfters für ein paar Tage in Legian aber seitdem hat sich halt viel geändert, die Australier haben sich dort kräftig mit Sportbars eingekauft und unsere balinesischen Lieblingsrestaurants sind verschwunden.

In der Doublesix road gibt es einen Warung "Warung murah". Dort kann man sehr gut essen und hat dieses typische Wahlessen - viele Töpfe mit leckeren Gerichten, man sucht sich aus und anschließend bekommt man einen Zettel mit dem Preis. Dadurch, daß dieser Warung sehr beliebt ist, wird auch andauernd gekocht und das Essen ist immer frisch.

@ Fifty, gibt es auch einen "Warung Murah" in der Doublesix? ich kenne nur den am Lio Square, der ist aber wirklich nicht mehr "murah"=)

Eventuell gehören die zusammen? Ich kenne nur den in der Doublesix, war aber vor 2 Jahren das letzte Mal dort. Murah ist natürlich ein weiter Begriff, für Karangasem Verhältnisse nicht billig.

Das Essen im Warung Murah in der Jl. 66 schmeckt sehr gut, ich esse auch gern dort, gell @ Pingerlo? :D

Für Urlauber ist es auch noch billig dort, ansonsten finde ich es net so "murah" dort, im Vergleich zu anderen derartigen Warungs, die halt net so günstig/zentral liegen. Aber es ist immer noch zu empfehlen. :)

Den Warung am Lio Square kenn ich auch net, muss ich mal schauen, wenn ich dort vorbei komme. Ist der auf der Jl. Kerobokan, @ Cocos?

Schon mal Danke für eure bisherigen Antworten! :) Wir wollten euere Meinungen/Erfahrungen zu folgendem wissen:

-gibt es in Legian und Jimbaran etwas, was wir uns unbedingt anschauen sollten?
-Braucht man dort am Strand Badeschuhe?
-loht es sich Taucherbrille und Flossen zum schnorcheln einzupacken?:baden
-Ansonsten interessieren uns natürlich noch Tipps zum essen gehen! :koch: :D

Hi couch... (ist das ein Name:confused_neu?)

Badeschuhe für Legian und Jimbaran braucht ihr nicht,
evt aber für Amed, der Strand dort ist steinig.
Ihr fragtet, ob sich Taucherbrille und Flossen lohnen,
für Jimbaran und Legian eher nicht -
für Bali ganz sicher:taucher!!!
Es gibt hier bereits einen thread, da sind die schönsten
Schnorchelplätze aufgelistet
(u.a. Amed, daher der Hinweis mit den Badeschuhen)

Tipps zum Essen:
einheimische Küche, in welcher Form sie Euch auch begegnet: AUSPROBIEREN :essen2 !

Habt Ihr schon einen Reiseführer?
Weil, mich wundert die Frage nach dem Schnorcheln,
das Thema wird dort sicher behandelt:augenzwinkern!
Ebenso wie hier im Forum könnt Ihr dort noch viele Tipps finden,
wenn die Auskünfte zum Beispiel zu Legian hier eher übersichtlich bleiben...
Jeder hat eben so seine Favoriten auf Bali,
in Jimbaran kenne ich nur den besagten Strand mit den Fischrestaurants
und Legian ist nun wirklich nicht mein Einzugsgebiet.
Wenn Ihr gern Party mögt, seid Ihr dort richtig,
schon weil man nicht merkt, wo Kuta aufhört und Legian beginnt...
