Hmm gut möglich, dass in der Notaufnahme Englisch gesprochen wird. Den Eingang habe ich zum Glück noch nie benutzen müssen:)

In der Poliklinik habe ich andere Erfahrungen gesammelt.

Von allen Krankenhäusern auf Bali ist KIH vielleicht das beste, dass lassen sie sich aber auch entsprechend bezahlen. Kenne kein anderes Krankenhaus, dass so teuer ist.(für Einheimische).

Die Abart von Ausländern mehr zu verlangen, ist mir bisher nur auf Bali über den Weg gelaufen. Wenn denn das Geld der Ausländer so wichtig für die Qualitätssicherung ist, frage ich mich, was die Krankenhäuser in Jakarta oder Surabaya machen.
Oder noch besser die Krankenhäuser in Bangkok. Im Bangkok Hospital bekommt man für unter 10€ einen sehr guten Allgemeinmediziener.
Im Bumrungrad kostet der Spaß dann immernoch unter 30 €.

Ich frage mich wie die es schaffen weit bessere Leistungen zu bieten ohne Ausländer abzuzocken...

was die Preisunterschiede in den Kliniken auf Bali anbetrifft, so unterstelle ich mal, dass es im BIMC und sicher auch im SOS mindestens genauso teuer (wenn nicht sogar teurer ist), als im KIH.

Bezogen auf Bangkok, sind beide von Dir genannten Kliniken für den "normalen Thai" nicht bezahlbar (ausser sie kommen in eines der Sozialprojekte, welche als Auflage der Regierung eingerichtet werden mussten). Beide Kliniken haben nahezu die selben Preise, was schon daher kommt, das beide Kliniken der gleichen Krankenhausbetreibergruppe angehören. Sie unterscheiden sich lediglich in der Ausstattung, dem Service und der Zielgruppe ;-)

Und wie schon geschrieben, Preisunterschiede gibt es auch hier bei uns. Ein Ausländer, der in eine deutsche Klinik geht, wird mit dem Faktor 2.3 abgerechnet, also alle Leistungen kosten für einen Ausländer hier bei uns über das Doppelte im Vergleich zum AOK-Patienten.

es ist leider an der Zeit, das "Lob" zurück zu schrauben.
Fehler und Mißgeschicke passieren zwar überall, aber das KIH hat wohl nun wahrlich angefangen, vornehmlich ausländische Patienten als "Selbstbedienungs-Geldautomaten" zu benutzen. 8o

Nach nun einigen Gesprächen zur Problemaltik mit dem Management der Klinik, haben wir die Krankenhausgruppe nun negativ gelistet. :(

ja, leider - und wiederholt...
Am unglücklichsten finde ich, ist der Betrachtungspunkt, dass wir über extreme Summen reden.
Eine Krankenschwester verdient auf Bali etwa 60 bis 80 Euro im Monat - und diese Summe holen sich die Kliniken gerade mit 10-minütigen Konsultationen vom Patienten.

Man beachte dabei die reale Gewinnspanne! 8o

ich denke, die Problematik liegt darin begründet, das wir viel zu sehr die "reichen Indonesier" (also z.B. Indonesische Studenten bei uns in Deutschland, oder echte indonesische Hotelmanager,...) vor Augen haben und dabei oft schnell ausgrenzen, wie es im wirklichen Indonesien aussieht.

Eine einfache Krankenschwester ist schon eine schulisch gebildete und ausgebildete Fachkraft.

Aber hierzu mal ein aktuelles Streitthema aus Jakarta:
Der Bürgermeister der Stadt möchte gegenwärtig die monatlichen Gehälter der Busfahrer anheben auf etwa 530 Euro/Monat.
Dagegen haben sich die Ärzte in Jakarta aufgelehnt, da beispielsweise ein Arzt in einer Notaufnahme gerade mal zwischen 270 und 350 Euro/Monat bekommt (und der muß ja Schichtdienste und Bereitschaftsdienste leisten, nach einem ziemlich langen Studium).

Naja ich meinte weniger Studenten und Manager als viel mehr viele Einheimische der oberen unteren Bildungsschicht, wenn man das so am ehesten vielleicht nennen kann.

Wenn ich mir überlege, dass ich "Sicherheitspersonal" kenne, dass keine offizielle Ausbildung hat und 1,8 Mio verdient oder Reinigungskräfte in Hotels, die um die 2 Mio verdienen und im zweifel sogar eine Krankenversicherung haben(bei den besseren Hotels).
Ja ich kenne sogar Leute die mit Müll sammeln angeblich mehr verdienen als die Krankenschwestern.
Dein Beispiel mit den Busfahrern passt da imho ganz gut.

Da fragt man sich wirklich, warum die Leute überhaupt noch studieren. Man investiert ja nicht nur Zeit sondern auch viel Geld. Wenn ich das richtig im Kopf habe kostet das Studium rund 3000€ pro Semester auf Bali.
